Hurum Yoga,  Hurum, Norway - 1 hour south of Oslo

In this yoga + meditation weekend, come and explore a graceful yoga practice with experienced and respected London yoga teacher, Anna Ashby. The weekend offers an immersion in the varied practices of yoga including: skilful expression of yoga poses both in-depth study and dynamic practice; meditation; and restorative yoga practice.

Subtlety and presence in yoga practice require slowing down, softening and cultivating steady + clear perception at the heart of yoga. This means going beyond what is obvious, recognising underlying patterns of holding + tension that interfere with the fullness of experience, and exploring ways to cultivate spaciousness whether in movement or stillness. While honouring essential teachings of the yoga tradition, this weekend allows space for understanding and exploring personal insight.

Friday night will include slow, mindful stretches in preparation for meditation practice. Saturday morning will explore more dynamic, breath + alignment based postural practice. Saturday afternoon will dive deep into restorative yoga. And Sunday will culminate with dynamic, restorative and meditation practice.

The weekend is suitable for those wishing to go deeper in their relationship with yoga, as well as those who wish to simply experience some space and relaxation and enjoy the company of other yogis (those who practice yoga).

We will be at Hurum Yoga, a nice yoga studio by the fjord, 45 minutes from Oslo. There will be time between sessions to take walks + swim, enjoy nature and rest. A light evening meal after practice Friday and lunch Saturday is included in the price. Saturday evening, we will eat in a restaurant at the seaside. Private accommodation locally can be arranged at a low cost.

All levels. Must register for entire weekend.

Fee: NOK 1950/£180 before June 15th. After this date, NOK 2450/£230.
